Student Poster Sessions

The purpose of the “Student Poster Sessions” at AIRC 2026 is to encourage participation from both local and non-local students, providing them with an opportunity to attend the conference and share their research ideas with a broader audience from industry and academia. Prizes for the BEST STUDENT POSTER AWARD will be awarded as follows: first prize, $300 USD; second prize, $200 USD; and third prize, $100 USD. All finalists will receive certificates to commemorate their achievements.

Abstracts will be shortlisted based on reviewer scores. Eligible posters will then be evaluated by the award committee according to the following criteria: content quality, effectiveness of visual presentation, and the student’s ability to present the subject matter clearly and concisely.


Eligibility

• Nominees must be full-time undergraduate or graduate students (Master’s or PhD candidates). Postdoctoral fellows and non-students are not eligible..

• The student’s research may be theoretical or experimental, within the general technical and scientific areas covered by the conference.

• The submitted abstract must have been accepted through the regular abstract review process by the Conference Program Committee as a poster presentation. The student must personally present the work at the conference.


Application Procedure

To nominate yourself for a BEST STUDENT POSTER AWARD, please follow these steps:

  1. Submit an abstract to the conference according to the standard submission guidelines and deadlines outlined under Abstract Submissions.
    * Log in to the submission system via: http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=airc2026
    * Select the option “STUDENT POSTER SESSIONS” in the submission system.
  2. After your abstract is accepted, you must also submit a PDF version of your poster. The committee will notify you of the review result after evaluating all submissions.


Submission Instructions

Students are required to present their posters during the student poster sessions. A complete submission must include both the abstract and the poster PDF.

The abstract must include the following information:

  • Title of the poster
  • Names and institutions of the authors
  • Student author (Y/N)
  • A brief abstract (less than 500 words)
  • A list of keywords

Notes:

  • All posters must be formatted to A1 size.
  • Submissions will be reviewed by the Program Committee, and decisions will be communicated via email.
  • Authors are expected to respond to review comments and, if required, resubmit updated versions of their abstract and/or poster.
  • Abstracts and student posters will not be published in the AIRC 2026 Proceedings.
  • Selected students must register for the conference.
  • Students are responsible for printing their own posters.
